Pregnant Kim steps out
Kim Kardashian has made her first appearance since announcing she is pregnant with her second child.
The reality star stepped out in New York for the CFDA Fashion Awards yesterday, WA time, flanked by husband Kanye West, below, less than 24 hours after the baby news broke.
The expectant mother chose an avant- garde look for the red carpet, frocking up in a sheer custom-made dress by designer Proenza Schouler that showed little sign of a baby bump.
While it is not known how far along Kardashian is, she said she was “beyond excited” about giving 23-month-old daughter North a sibling.
Kardashian’s struggles to conceive again have been well documented and she made the decision to highlight her difficulties to help other women experiencing similar problems.
However, she revealed earlier this week, in a teaser for the latest season of her family’s reality series, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, that the struggle had paid off and she and West were expecting a second child.
