Body-in-boot accused appear in court

A group of people charged with murdering Travis Mills, whose body was found in the boot of his burnt-out car, have made a brief appearance in court.

Seleena Monique Ruthsalz, 25, appeared in Stirling Gardens Magistrate's Court this morning accused of murdering her partner in April.

Her mother, 44-year-old Spearwood woman Joanne Christine Ruthsalz, Darryl Raymond Newton, 47, Darren Campbell, 48, and Justine Campbell, 44, have also been charged with murder.

Mr Campbell's lawyer told the court his client had been admitted to Royal Perth Hospital recently and his health may be a consideration in the future.

Mr Mills was found dead on his daughter Ruby's first birthday on April 3.

Police allege he was killed the previous night, just hours after he finished putting together a trampoline he had bought her as a present.

The scaffolder's body was found in his green Ford Falcon in a new Armadale housing development.

The five alleged murderers will appear in court again on August 26.
