Police name murder victim

Police have named the man found dead in a house in East Fremantle yesterday.

Major crime squad detectives today identified the man as 25-year-old Reuben Gerard Stack.

Police said Mr Stack was found dead inside his Moss Street home by his brother late yesterday afternoon.


Forensic officers have been at the house throughout the day and a section of the street remains closed.

Police have declined to give details of the man's injuries, only saying they were "severe".

Bushes along Moss Street and bins at East Fremantle Oval have been searched.

Police have appealed for anyone with information about the death to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. They also want to speak to anyone in the area who had been the victim of a minor crime during the past few days but had not reported it to police.
