Fast thieves hit fast food joints

Joondalup Detectives are investigating whether three burglaries yesterday - in Mindarie, Kinross and Joondalup - are related.

Around 10:30pm one or more offenders smashed a glass panel in the front door of a fish shop on Anchorage Drive, Mindarie and broke in.

"The offenders grabbed the till and when they found no money inside, they fled in a gold coloured vehicle," a police spokeswoman said.

A short time later, around 10:40pm, the offender smashed the front glass door of a fish shop on Kinross Drive in Kinross.

The offenders stole the empty till machine.

Then, between 10pm and 11:10pm, a person or persons forced their way into a pizza store on Candlewood Boulevard, Joondalup.

The offenders stole a safe and two tills that were empty.

Police are investigating the incidents and whether they are linked.
