Although he stormed the battlefields of Coral and Balmoral more than 47 years ago, Vietnam War veteran Brian Cleaver still bears deep psychological scars. Cleaver had a hand in killing 42 North Vietnamese soldiers who were considered enemies to both Australia and the US. To this day, Cleaver is riddled with guilt and has spent the past decade travelling to and from Vietnam searching for the men’s missing bodies. His hope is that by returning them to their families, he will find absolution. This is a poignant documentary with first-hand accounts from Cleaver and other veterans whose stories are brought to life through powerful re-enactments and archive footage.
