Car crash victim dies from burns

A man who received burns to 90 per cent of his body in a fiery car crash in Wattle Grove this week has died.

Police said the man was on fire as he ran from the Toyota Camry he was travelling in after it and a Toyota Tarago collided on Crystal Brook Road about 8pm on Wednesday.

He received treatment for his burns at Fiona Stanley Hospital bit died this morning.

A woman who had been in the car was taken to Royal Perth Hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.

The man driving the second vehicle had minor injuries.
