Bushfire forces school evacuation

A bushfire has forced the evacuation of classrooms at Leeming Senior High School.

The fire started in scrub next to the school on Aulberry Parade.

Firefighters made the decision to evacuate school buildings closest to the blaze at about 1pm.

The Department of Education said students were moved to the other side of the school but remained within the grounds.
