Out-of-control blaze in Baldivis

A bushfire advice remains for people in the western part of Baldivis, on Mandurah Road between Safety Bay Road and Sixty Eighth Road, in the City of Rockingham.

There is no threat to lives or homes but there is a lot of smoke in the area. The fire is contained and under control.

Although there is no immediate danger you need to be aware and keep up to date in case the situation changes.

The fire is burning in bushland adjacent to Lake Walyungup between Safety Bay Road and Sixty Eighth Road.

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services says the fire started about 3.30am.
