A shark has been spotted 5m offshore around Cottesloe Beach.
Surf Life Saving WA tweeted this morning that the 3.1m shark was spotted at 7.05am near the Willem de Vlamingh Memorial south of Cottesloe Beach.
The shark's species is not known.
