Driver charged over cyclist's death

A Bullsbrook woman has been charged over the death of a 70-year-old cyclist on Kings Park Road last month.

Major Crash Investigators have charged a 41-year-old woman in relation to a serious crash in West Perth on November 5.

WA Police allege that the woman was driving a Toyota Rav4 west on Kings Park Road about 9.50am when she crashed into a female cyclist who was travelling in the same direction.

The cyclist received life-threatening injuries and was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital where she later died.

The 41-year-old female driver of the Toyota Rav4 has been charged with Dangerous Driving Occasioning Death.

She is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on January 13.
