Man, 64, dies in Greenwood crash

A 64-year-old man has died after a single-vehicle crash in Greenwood last night.

Investigators believe the Madeley man’s white Mitsubishi Outlander was heading east on Warwick Road about 6.10pm when the car left the road and hit a kerb.

The car hit a bus stop post, bush on the median strip and a tree before landing on its side near Allenswood Road.

Witnesses pushed the car back on to its wheels.

"Tragically the man driving the Outlander, the only occupant of the vehicle at the time, was unable to be revived and passed away," a police spokeswoman said.

Major Crash Investigators are calling for information from the public regarding the crash.

Anyone with details about the incident is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
