Four on drugs charges after raids

Four people have been charged with a string of drug offences after police - including the TRG - searched houses in Bull Creek and Balga yesterday and allegedly found $60,000 in cash.

Fremantle detectives were joined by the West Metropolitan DCT, TRG and the Police Dog Squad to execute simultaneous search warrants at properties on Bull Creek Drive in Bull Creek and Fernhurst Crescent and Cartmell Way in Balga.

Police seized more than 200g of methylamphetamine, $60,000 in cash, 10 smoking implements, 18g of cannabis, 25ml of methylamphetamine, 100 dexamphetamine tablets, six LSD tabs, a cross box, mobile phones and other drug paraphernalia.

A 49-year-old Bull Creek man has been charged with possessing methylamphetamine with intent to sell/supply, possessing methylamphetamine (liquid), possessing cannabis, possessing a prohibited drug (dexamphetamine), possessing unlawfully obtained property and possessing drug paraphernalia.

A 55-year-old Balga man has been charged with two counts of selling a prohibited drug, one count each of possessing methylamphetamine with intent to sell/supply and possessing unlawfully obtained property.

Both men are due to appear in Fremantle Magistrate's Court today.

A Bull Creek man, 46, will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date on the offences of possessing methylamphetamine, possessing cannabis and possessing unlawfully obtained property.

A 42-year-old Perth woman will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date on the offences of possessing drug paraphernalia.

Police inquiries are continuing.
