He has been taken into police custody.

At approximately 11.12pm a man driving a white Holden Commodore driving near Gordon Road and Mandurah Road in Greenfields failed to stop.

The man had his vehicle seized and will be summonsed for failing to stop, no authority to drive and reckless driving.

About ten minutes later, police conducting patrols observed a Nissan Patrol travelling west along Beach Road in Mirrabooka.

Police allege the driver of the Nissan evaded police through several suburbs before turning into Joyce Road in Gnangara.

The car then smashed through the gate entrance to a property on Joyce Road, before driving around the home and driving through paddocks.

The driver allegedly smashed his way through an electric gate and drove onto Facey Road, before attempting to enter bushland.

The vehicle then became stuck and the driver fled on foot. Police located the male driver hiding in bushland a short time afterward.

A 24 year old Midland man has been charged with multiple driving offences, assault to prevent arrest, property damage and failing to report an incident in which property was damaged.

He is due to appear in the Joondalup Magistrate's Court today, 6 August 2014.
