Car crash kills two horses

Two horses were killed this morning when they were hit by a car in Mundijong – the second such incident in Perth this week.

Just before 4.30am, a car collided with two horses near the corner of Kargotich Road and Mundijong Road.

One horse died on impact and the other was euthanased at the scene.

Local roads were closed as three other horses were returned to their paddock.

On Monday, one horse died and another was seriously injured when they were struck by a car in Bullsbrook.

The crash happened just before 7am near the intersection of Taylor Road and Clarkson Road.

The driver received minor injuries.
