Mum accused of murder
A 21-year-old single mother is in custody facing murder charges.
Keeah Linda Maureen Sturcke, of Caversham, appeared in Perth Magistrate's Court yesterday charged with murdering Cong Trung Nguyen, 35. She was charged with Mr Nguyen's murder on Monday.
Mr Nguyen's body was found at his former Beechboro home at the weekend.
Ms Sturcke's supporters appeared emotional in court - one woman broke down crying and left the courtroom.
On her Facebook page, Ms Sturcke describes herself as a "full-time mummy" who attended Balga Senior High School.
She has a three-year-old son.
She did not apply for bail and was remanded in custody to July 30 to face Stirling Gardens Magistrate's Court.
