Two injured in Wundowie crash

A woman has been airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital after a two-car crash in Wundowie this afternoon.

The cars collided on Great Eastern Highway, near the intersection of Hawke Avenue, at about 12.20pm.

St John Ambulance paramedics and volunteer firefighters had to free the woman from her vehicle before she was flown by the RAC rescue helicopter to RPH.

She is in a stable condition.

Another person involved in the crash was taken by ambulance to Swan Districts Hospital.

Police were also at the scene.
