The vehicles collided and both drivers were taken to Royal Perth Hospital where the Canning Vale woman remains in a critical condition.

Police would also like to speak to anyone who saw the crash, or either vehicle prior to the crash.

Major Crash Investigators are asking witnesses to come forward to help with their investigation into the crash.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
