Charges after alelged stabbing in High Wycombe

A 22-year-old Kelmscott man has been charged after a 50-year-old man was stabbed in High Wycombe last night.

Police alleged that the younger man was with other people at a home in Croxdale Crescent High Wycombe between 7pm and 7.30pm when an altercation took place.

The 50-year-old High Wycombe was taken to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment where he is in a serious but stable condition.

The 22-year-old man has been charged with one count each of Unlawful Wounding with Circumstances of Aggravation; Aggravated Assault Occasioning Bodily Harm and Common Assault with Circumstances of Aggravation.

He is due to appear in the Midland Magistrates Court today, 10 June 2014.
