Two face court over Ellenbrook robbery

Two males have been charged with stealing after allegedly forcing their way into an Ellenbrook shopping centre early this week.

Police claim just before 1am on Tuesday, a 17-year-old and 25-year-old forced their way into the shopping centre, on Main Street.

It is alleged they unsuccessfully tried to enter one jewellery store but got into another, where they stole jewellery.

A 25-year-old Beechboro man was yesterday charged with aggravated burglary, stealing, steal motor vehicle and criminal damage by fire.

He also faces cannabis and drug paraphernalia possession charges and is due to appear in Midland Magistrate's Court today.

His 17-year-old companion has been charged with stealing a motor vehicle and stealing false number plates and is due to appear in Perth Children's Court today.
