Arson squad officers will visit a house damaged in a suspicious fire in the early hours of this morning.

The two-storey house on Parkin Street, Rockingham, is believed to have been unoccupied when the blaze took hold about 3.30am.

Police said initial estimates suggested the fire caused about $65,000 of damage.

People who saw suspicious activity in the area at the time are urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
