A Midland man is due to face court today accused of killing his paraplegic son last week.

Tyron Paul Honeywood, 25, was found dead in his Cope Street home in Midland about 8am. He had been living with his father at the time. Major crime squad detectives yesterday charged Mr Honeywood's 60-year-old father with the murder of his son.

Friends and family paid tribute to the 25-year-old on social media. One family member wrote: "He was such an awesome person."
