Man charged over Bassendean burglaries

A 27-year-old Bassendean man has been charged over a series of burglaries.

Police allege the man is responsible for three burglaries, two at the same commercial property at Bassendean Shopping Village at 4am on October 24 and 5am on January 23.

The third burglary was at a home in Bassendean sometime overnight between February 3 and 4.

Officer executed a search warrant at the man's home with the help of the police dog squad yesterday and found the 27-year-old man hiding under a blanket.

He has been charged with three counts of burglary and three counts of stealing and is due to appear in Midland Magistrate's Court today.
