Two men have been charged after they allegedly took keys from the sand at Port Beach and stole a car last year.

The Hyundai Elantra was allegedly stolen on November 20 and was spotted by police on patrol in Bayswater about 4.30pm yesterday.

A 42-year-old Jane Brook man and a 48-year-old man of no fixed address have been charged with stealing a motor vehicle and other sundry offences.

They are due to appear in Perth Magistrate's Court today.
