Three 18-year-old men have been charged with burglary after a member of the public allegedly saw them running down the street with their faces covered and dobbed them in.

Police said they received a call from someone who spotted the trio running down Ward Street, Mandurah, about 1.30pm yesterday.

One of the men was allegedly carrying a sword.

Officers arrived and another member of the public helped police to find where the men were hiding and the trio were arrested.

It will be alleged they broke into a nearby home.

The three men have been charged with aggravated burglary and going armed in public with intent to cause fear and are due to appear in Mandurah Magistrate’s Court on February 5.
