Police have released security vision of a man over several Cottesloe burglaries.

A grey hatchback 2010 BMW registration 1DKJ340 was stolen from a Webb Street home sometimes between 10:30am December 20 and 6am December 21.

Later that night police believe the same people broke into a home on nearby Lillian Street, taking credit cards and computer items.

About 1.40pm on Friday, December 21, a man drove the stolen BMW to the Caltex service station located on Omeo Street South Lake. He used one of the stolen credit cards to purchase fuel and food.

He is described as between 30 to 40 years of age, approximately 170cms tall with fair skin, of slim build. He was wearing a maroon long sleeve shirt, long pants and a white baseball cap and sunglasses.
