Woman stabbed in Innaloo

Police are speaking to a male person after a woman was stabbed in Innaloo this morning.

The 30-year-old woman was stabbed on Oswald Street at about 1.50am.

Police are speaking to a male known to the woman over the assault. Police would not reveal where the woman was stabbed due to the ongoing investigation.

After the assault, police said it was believed the offender threw away the knife during a walk from Innaloo to Scarbrorough Police Station.

Police said the knife could have been discarded in the area between Oswald Street, Innaloo Shopping Centre and Scarborough Beach Road.
