Police believe an Adelaide woman missing since December may have travelled interstate.

Rachel Moritz was reported missing on December 30, and last made contact with her family on January 1.

South Australian Police are investigating an unconfirmed report Ms Moritz was seen at Adelaide Airport on December 23 in the company of a middle-aged woman.

They are urging Ms Moritz, the woman seen with her at the airport or the person who provided the information to Crime Stoppers to contact police immediately.

While police said they have no information Ms Moritz is being held against her will, they want to confirm she is safe and well.
