A South West man has been charged over a string of alleged sex offences stretching back more than 20 years.

Police allege the 46-year-old indecently assaulted one victim between 1985 and 1987 while living in Hamilton Hill, he was aged between 19-21 years at the time.

Between 1986 and 1990, the man is alleged to have indecently and sexually assaulted another victim at a home in Parmelia when he was aged between 20 and 24.

The man then moved to the South West, where police allege he sexually assaulted another victim in 2002.

The 46-year-old was arrested on December 17 and charged with four counts of aggravated indecent assault of a child under 13, four counts of aggravated sexual penetration of a child and knowingly sexually penetrating a child who is a lineal or de facto relative.

He will face the Manjimup Magistrate's court on January 24.
