Customers at a Greenwood liquor store were forced to hand over their valuables and lie on the ground while armed bandits stole money from a til last night.

Police were called to the bottle shop on Calectasia Street about 9.30pm after two men, one armed with a knife and the other believed to be armed with a gun, entered the store and threatened staff.

While one man took cash from the til, the other forced patrons to lie on the floor and get out their wallets and mobile phones.

The men fled the scene in a Holden Commodore with registration 1AKC720 driven by a woman.

No one was injured during the incident.

Anyone who can provide information on the incident is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
