Stuck truck causes traffic chaos

There was traffic chaos in West Perth after a truck became stuck under an overpass this morning.

The truck was holding up traffic near the corner of Roe and Sutherland Streets, near Harbour Town shopping complex.

No one was injured in the incident that occurred about 11.30am.

Emergency services were sent to the site and provided assistance to clear the truck.

Traffic was busy in and leading up to the incident and drivers were asked to avoid distractions and maintain safe speeds to avoid contributing to congestion.

The truck was removed about 2pm and traffic has now returned to normal thorugh the area.
