Police and the State Emergency Service are this morning searching for an 18-year-old man who was involved in a trail bike crash off Brookton Highway.

The man was riding with a friend in bushland near Flint yesterday afternoon when he crashed his bike.

His friend went to get help but when he returned the 18-year-old was not there.

A police spokeswoman said it was not known if the 18-year-old man was injured and police were concerned for his welfare.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 131 444.
