The Department of Environment and Conservation has launched a number of guides for destinations across Australia.

The 17 guides which have been developed by online travel guide writers, EveryTrail, and feature destination information, history of the location, weather conditions, land uses and transport details.

The guides are available as Android or iPhone Apps and feature route recording capabilities, Facebook and Twitter links to share experiences with friends and family.

Travellers can also use the App to find and follow trips from other users, making it easier to discover points of interest at a destination.

The new guides for West Australian destinations include;
