Ice-cream museum opens

Italian ice-cream machine manufacturer Carpigiani claims to have opened the world's first ice-cream museum in the small village of Anzola Emilia near Bologna.

Visitors can see which ice-creams are made with which machines and also learn recipes dating back 200 years.

The museum is open Monday to Saturday and entry is free.

Visitors interested in making ice-cream can sign up for workshops and courses at the facility's well-equipped ice-cream university.
