A holiday on the high seas is the best way to rekindle romance, according to a national survey of cruise passengers conducted by P&O Cruises.
Of the 503 experienced cruisers surveyed, 74 per cent recommended a cruise holiday to help couples put the romance back into their love lives.
One third of the people surveyed also said it improved their intimacy.
George Clooney was also the celebrity most passengers said they would like to run into on a cruise, followed by Prince William.
Sarah Jessica Parker and Lady Gaga were on the other end of the scale for preferred sea mates.
Sixty-five per cent of respondents said being able to relax contributed most to onboard romance, while 17 per cent said being able to spend quality time together was a major factor.
