Miata chases the title of Australia's richest greyhound when she lines up as favourite in Saturday's Galaxy Final (715m) at Cannington.

Miata is $1.10 favourite to stretch her unbeaten streak to 14, with the $80,000 first prize pushing her ahead of High Earner ($610,070).

This would put Miata on the way to becoming Australia's first millionaire greyhound after receiving an invitation to the $75,000 Zoom Top (725m) at the Meadows on February 16.

High Earner, who won the $210,000 Perth Cup (530m) in 2010 and 2011, was owned by Christine Robartson and prepared by her husband Dave.

The Queensland dog's stud career was cut short after serving about 70 bitches when he died from bowel complications in Victoria last May.

The Robartsons bred Saving Bundles, a daughter to High Earner, at their Gatton property in Queensland.

She was then sent to WA trainer Linda Britton.

"We sent her to Perth because we couldn't get starts and the tracks were waterlogged," Dave Robartson said.

"The short distances were all corner starts and the one start we got with her she fell.

"We thought the straight starts over 400m at Mandurah would be better and she has grown a leg."

Saving Bundles has won 11 times from her 19 starts in WA.

She earned a crack at Saturday's Perth Cup when she won last October's Group 3 Mandurah Cup (490m).

Saving Bundles will be Britton's 24th starter in the Perth Cup.

She won with Wynlee Supreme (1992) and Bliss Bale (1999).

Saving Bundles has drawn box seven in the final after jumping from eight to win her heat in 30.61sec. last week.

"She is still fairly young and will acquit herself well as she gets older and stronger," Robartson said.

"She doesn't mind the outside and there is a bit of speed on the inside. There is going to be about four dogs hitting that first turn together so it might not be a bad place to be."

Queenslander Glen Gallon (2) is the $2.60 favourite ahead of WA star Hot Irish (6) at $4.80 and Victorian Renegade Chief (5) at $5.
