Cats stars back to face the Dockers

Geelong have brought back some big guns for their clash with Fremantle at Patersons Stadium on Saturday night.

Captain Cameron Ling, Paul Chapman and James Podsiadly return from injury. Chapman will play his 200th AFL match.

The Cats had to overlook suspended defender Matthew Scarlett while Daniel Menzel and Cameron Guthrie were dropped to make way for Ling and Chapman to return.

And despite concerns about Joel Selwood, he was named on a wing after being concussed during last week's match with St Kilda.

The Dockers made one change with Matt de Boer, who impressed for Claremont in WAFL ranks last week, in to replace first-year player Jayden Pitt.

There was still no room for prized pre-season recruit Jack Anthony, who was named with Pitt and Jonathon Griffin on the club's emergency list.
