Several key players were absent from the Dockers’ open training session at a wet Fremantle Oval this morning.

Stephen Hill (hamstring) and Zac Dawson (ankle) have both been listed as tests on the injury list ahead of Fremantle’s clash with Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval on Saturday but failed to train today.

Luckless midfielder Anthony Morabito was also missing after he sat out of the WAFL on the weekend with tonsillitis.

Veteran defender Luke McPharlin, who has already been ruled out with a quadriceps problem, also didn’t join his teammates for the light session.

Kepler Bradley was the only Docker who played with Peel Thunder last weekend to join the main group today.

A host of others, including Garrick Ibbotson, Jon Griffin, Colin Sylvia and Tom Sheridan, weren’t sighted.

Alex Silvagni and Jack Hannath, who were held out from the WAFL as emergencies for Sunday’s western derby, did not press their cases for a return today.

Silvagni is the most likely replacement for McPharlin, but Bradley could come into calculations if Dawson is also unable to line up.

Bradley has played two games for Peel on the return from a knee reconstruction and put in a strong performance playing as a key defender against Perth on the weekend.
