Morabito faces ban, Johnson free for Freo
Luckless Fremantle midfielder Anthony Morabito is set to be offered a two-week suspension after being reported for rough conduct in the WAFL at the weekend, while fellow Docker Jack Hannath is set for a reprimand.
But the Dockers will have the services of Michael Johnson for Sunday's western derby despite the defender receiving a reprimand from the AFL match review panel.
Johnson was sanctioned for misconduct towards North Melbourne's Aaron Black last Friday.
Morabito, 22, drew the attention of the umpires after collecting Claremont midfielder Tom Ledger high while playing for Peel on Saturday.
Ledger was forced to the sidelines with a cut head as a result of the impact.
It is understood the incident has been graded as reckless, high and of medium impact, resulting in a level three charge.
Hannath was reported for striking during the game after a body blow on Tigers swingman Anton Hamp.
It is believed his hit was reckless, body contact and low impact, drawing a level one charge and a reprimand.
Morabito’s likely suspension will be the fifth handed out to a Fremantle-listed player in the WAFL and AFL this season.
Nat Fyfe, Zac Dawson, Colin Sylvia and Hayden Ballantyne are the players already booked this year, publically drawing the ire of Fremantle coach Ross Lyon.
