Three key Dockers will have scans as Fremantle assesses the fallout from last night's 58-point MCG drubbing at the hands of Hawthorn.

Garrick Ibbotson will get a medical assessment on the right shoulder that he dislocated in the first term of the one-sided grand final rematch.

The 26-year-old had his arm in a sling as he boarded a flight back to Perth this morning in the wake of the demoralising loss.

Michael Walters and Chris Mayne, who both hurt their left ankles in last night's match, were using crutches as they boarded the same flight.

A Fremantle spokesman said the two forwards were likely to have scans done tomorrow to determine the extent of their injuries after their arrival back in Perth.

All three Dockers will be in doubt for the club's next match against bogey side Essendon at Patersons Stadium tomorrow week, with Ibbotson most likely to spend an extended spell on the sidelines.
