Eagles lose another big man
Eagles lose another big man

Another West Coast big man has gone down in pre-season but Eagles fans shouldn't fret over an injury to ruckman Dean Cox.

According to AFL.com, Cox dislocated a finger during a pre-season training session on Friday.

The injury will force Cox to withdraw from the main Eagles' training group but a club spokesman said, "there will be no lingering issues".

Cox's absence follows December groin surgery for his ruck partner Nic Naitanui, who still holds hope of being available for the opening round of the season.

The Eagles are confident Scott Lycett can fill any void left by Naitanui early in the season.
