The club website has reported that Hill, who was traded to the Eagles by the Western Bulldogs last season, and Hams, who was elevated off the rookie list at the end of last season, have both agreed to terms to extend their commitment to the club.

Hill joined West Coast in exchange for pick 49 which was part of a complex four-way trade involving the Western Bulldogs and Port Adelaide. He has played all but two games this year.

Hams, a mature rookie selection in 2010 who was elevated to the senior list for this season, has played 16 games this season and been an effective foil to key forwards Josh Kennedy, Quinten Lynch and Jack Darling.

The small forward has kicked 22 goals this season and will be looking to force his way back into the team this weekend.

“It’s great to get the opportunity to continue at the club,” Hams said. “I really want to be a part of this finals series and will do anything possible to get that chance.

“Everyone wants to be part of the big games and hopefully I can force my way back into the team.”

Hams, who turned 26 yesterday, has been named in the extended 25-man squad to tackle the Kangaroos. When released back to South Fremantle a fortnight ago, he produced a best-on-ground performance for the Bulldogs, but that was his WAFL club’s last game for the season.
