The AFL's Match Review Panel has come down hard this week, with Adelaide's Taylor Walker spearheading a list of five players set for a stint on the sidelines.
Walker has been offered a three-game ban for yet another sling tackle, this time on Richmond's Steven Morris. The Adelaide forward has already been banned for a similar tackle this season which contributed to the lengthy suspension.
Hawthorn's Brent Guerra is also facing a three-game ban for a front-on bump on Carlton's Eddie Betts.
Richmond's Daniel Jackson (striking), St Kilda's Brendon Goddard (striking) and Essendon's Stewart Crameri (rough conduct) are all facing suspensions.
Goddard has been offered a two-match sanction for striking North Melbourne’s Sam Wright if he makes an early guilty plea and Crameri can also accept two matches for rough conduct with an early plea.
Jackson had a one-match penalty for striking Adelaide’s Chris Knights increased to two by the panel because of the Richmond utility’s poor disciplinary record.
Western Bulldogs midfielder Ryan Griffen faces an $1800 fine for negligent contact with an umpire.
All have until Tuesday to decide whether to accept their penalties or take the matters to the AFL Tribunal.
