Police drop charges on Glory pair

South Australia police have dropped charges against two Perth Glory players involved in incidents in Adelaide last month.

As a result Andy Keogh and Josh Risdson will not be required to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court.

On February 15 following the Glory’s 1-1 draw with Adelaide United SA police attended to reports of two men acting in a disorderly manner outside a city nightclub.

Keogh was issued with a fine but was arrested late when police alleged he was still causing a nuisance.

Risdon was arrested for failing to follow a police direction.

The club imposed financial penalties on both players involved, after an internal investigation into the matter.

Both players have played in the four A-League games since the incident and are available for selection in Saturday’s match against Central Coast Mariners in Gosford.
