Eight days after his one-round blow-out of Marco Tuhumury at Metro City, Thornlie's Luke Sharp keeps busy against Aswin Cabuy in Kalgoorlie tonight.

Angelo Hyder-trained Sharp (11-2-2) takes on the Sydney-based Indonesian over eight rounds as part of the Battle In The Goldfields show at the Neils Hansen Stadium.

CARUANA RESPONDS TO CORNER'S BLAST

Cabuy, 40, has lost 49 of his 67 bouts and hasn't won any of his last 11.

Top of the bill sees Kalgoorlie fighter Oscar Siale meet another Hyder fighter, Ben Page.

Siale, 40, is a former Commonwealth title challenger and though his best days are possibly behind him, he'll provide a great test for rookie Page in only his fourth fight.

Page was perhaps unlucky to drop an eight-round decision to Rob Powdrill last time out. Powdrill then went on to cause the upset of the year by knocking out highly-touted Damien Hooper in just 21 seconds.

Siale and Page will fight for the WBA Asia cruiserweight belt.

Jae Bryce, who is also from the Goldfields, has his first fight in nearly two years when he takes on Nickolas Williamson for the WA heavyweight title.
