Bruni replaces injured Nyanga in France rugby squad

Paris (AFP) - Uncapped Toulon flanker Virgile Bruni has replaced injured Yannick Nyanga in the 30-man France training squad for the November Tests.

The 25-year-old Bruni is the sixth uncapped player in the squad called up by coach Philippe Saint-Andre, alongside South African-born Rory Kockott, New Zealand-born Uini Atonio, Xavier Chiocci, Teddy Thomas and Charles Ollivon.

Saint-Andre goes into the November internationals under increasing pressure with his overall record a mediocre 11 victories, two draws and 16 defeats in his 29 Test matches since taking over from Marc Lievremont after the 2011 World Cup.

France play Fiji in Marseille on November 8, with matches against Australia and Argentina following on consecutive weekends.
