Beckford-Chambers quits Fever for Adelaide

West Coast Fever have suffered a blow for next season's trans-Tasman netball campaign with two-time club champion Eboni Beckford-Chambers joining the Adelaide Thunderbirds.

The 26-year-old England Test defender, who played three seasons with the Fever, follows coach Norma Plummer out of the door at the Fever on the back of a disappointing 2014 season.

The qualified lawyer, who hopes to represent England at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, has signed a one-year deal with Adelaide.
