Western Force winger Nick Cummins has lived up to his reputation as the kookiest man in world rugby with a hilarious interview at the weekend.
The man famous for his left-of-centre expressions, such as "sweating like a gypsy with a mortgage" and "as mad as a tree full of galahs", was at his eccentric best in an interview after the Force’s win over the Highlanders in Dunedin.
Cummins explained what went wrong when he lost his footing close to the try line during the match, saying he went "head over biscuit" in his quest for "a bit of meat".
He then outlined the Force's simple game plan for the match – "into 'em, basically".
He then elaborated: "Up the guts, swing it wide and then in the corner".
With interviewer Melodie Robinson barely able to control her laughter, she tempted fate by asking Cummins how he got the nickname 'The Honey Badger'.
His response, which you can watch in all its glory at the top of the page, resulted in what the Kiwi broadcasters have labelled the best post-match interview ever.
