Lance Armstrong finally admitted it. He doped.
In the first part of his interview with Oprah Winfrey the disgraced cyclist revealed the extent of his cheating to win seven Tours de France.
But he was light on detail.
In the second part of his interview Armstrong is expected to reveal the damage his lies have done to his family and to his charity, Livestrong, which helps cancer survivors.
The Texan said yesterday he was certain his “fate was sealed” when longtime friend, training partner and trusted lieutenant George Hincapie, who was along for the ride on all seven of Armstrong’s Tour de France wins, was forced to give him up to anti-doping authorities.
There has been widespread criticism of Armstrong for not providing details to authorities.
Stay with The West for the second part of this enthralling interview.
