Western Force and Australian second-rower Nathan Sharpe is considering extending his international career yet again after he was asked by coach Robbie Deans to join the Wallabies tour of Europe next month.

Veteran Sharpe, the most recent Wallabies captain, said today that he would be "taking a couple of days to dwell" before making a decision.

The Wallabies play a four-Test tour of Italy, France, England and Wales.

The 34-year-old, Australia's most capped forward who notched his 111th game against Argentina last weekend, had planned to retire at the end of the Super Rugby season but was persuaded to play in the Rugby Championship after the Wallabies were hit by injuries.

Two former captains, second-rower James Horwill and flanker David Pocock, could return after long injury lay-offs for the tour which starts on November 3.
