Deonica McCormick stole the show in Kate Fielding’s 200th Collie Crane Hire South West Slammers game, hitting 21 points as the women posted a dramatic 75-73 home win over Stirling on Sunday night.

Fielding’s co-captain Bec Preston also enjoyed a stellar night, hitting a season-high 13 points plus four rebounds.

Three players scored more than 20 points as the Collie Crane Hire South West Slammers men snapped a two-game losing run by beating Stirling 123-109 on Sunday night.

A massive third quarter, which featured a 34-11 run, set up the win as the Slammers turned a three point half-time lead into a 26 point advantage during a dominant nine minute burst.

Tre Nichols once again top scored, finishing with 25 points, while player-coach Ty Harrelson ended with 22 points, eight rebounds and eight assists.
